Have you ever heard someone say that they’ve tried all kinds of
diets or weight loss methods and just can’t lose those excess pounds
or that even when they lose them, the weight comes back? Perhaps you’ve
even said it yourself.

Well, it used to frustrate me too. When I was in high school I just
couldn’t figure out why the bathroom scale didn’t give me the results
I thought I should be getting. In college I started learning how our
bodies actually work and I was fascinated. In fact, I was so fascinated
I made it a lifelong career to learn how our bodies and minds work
together to achieve what we desire whether it be better health, fitness
or a special goal such as losing weight.

It took me 12 years to figure it out...

It’s paid off for me and I want to use what I have learned to help you
with your weight goals. I would like you to be happy and confident with
how you look and feel just like so many of my clients have over the past
12 years. That’s why I created LifeWeight™.

LifeWeight™ is a complete program of classes and coaching sessions
to help you learn what you need to know and to inspire and guide you on
your journey to your goals. Don’t worry, you will not have to learn
everything about how your body works. You don’t have to. I will teach you
just what is important to know to help you reach your own dreams. Then I
will use my coaching skills and experience to help you design the journey
that can help you lose those frustrating pounds and keep them off forever.

After studying the body and mind for years and observing my family, friends
and clients, I've learned that there are three reasons why people can’t lose
weight.

Most people don’t know how the body works.
a. They use weight loss programs that don’t work with the body.
i. This means that even if they do lose some pounds, the weight will come back.
b. Often those programs actually work against how their body naturally works.
i. This means that even if they do lose some pounds, the weight will come back.

Some people are Not Ready.
a. Losing weight is a journey.
i. Your weight didn’t come on in 10 days and it won’t go off in 10 days
ii. It came on gradually and it needs to go off gradually if you want lasting results.
b. Know what the journey is, know where to begin and be ready to take the full journey.
i. Use methods that will make the journey as pleasant as possible.

i. Sorry, people have ended up with a whole library of diet books and/or
history of dieting and they are more frustrated than when they began.
ii. A client once told me she had dieted herself to morbid obesity. She started
dieting at 106 lbs and when she finished all the diets, she was 255 lbs. She
said she couldn’t afford to diet again.

I was delighted to hear that 1 year after we started working together she had lost 90 lbs and experienced some very happy side affects.
